About Me

I work with people who don’t want to simply cope with life as it is, but who want to understand themselves more deeply and make changes that feel meaningful and true.

Many of the people who find their way to me are questioning familiar ways of living, thinking, or relating, and sensing that something no longer fits. They may feel unsettled, stuck, or disconnected from their spark, even if things appear fine on the surface.

I’m particularly drawn to working with people who want to live with greater authenticity, clarity, and intention. This can involve questioning the status quo, taking emotional or relational risks, and exploring what genuinely matters to you, rather than what you feel you should want. Therapy, in this sense, is not about becoming someone else, but about becoming more fully yourself.

Alongside my therapeutic training, I bring a strong belief in exploration, movement, and pushing boundaries, both internally and in the wider world. My background in the outdoors and adventure has shaped how I work: I value curiosity, depth, and a willingness to engage honestly with uncertainty. This informs a therapeutic approach that is caring, but also confronting when needed, and focused on change that feels alive rather than prescribed.

I am in advanced psychotherapy training and work psychotherapeutically under supervision. I offer counselling and psychotherapy-informed work, taking care to practise ethically, reflectively, and within the scope of my training.

I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA).
